Zach Putthoff

Pastor for Preaching & Teaching

In June of 2013, Zach was appointed as the Pastor for Preaching at SCC. Zach and his wife Noelle have been with the church since 2005. They have been married for 22 years and have three children (Paige – 19, Clay – 17, and Erika - 7).

By God’s grace, Zach came to faith in Christ at an early age. He graduated from the Moody Bible Institute in 2004 with a B.A. in biblical studies and later took three years of graduate level courses in biblical counseling at The Master’s University in California during his first few years at the church. He is also currently studying historical and systematic theology with Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary. His primary ministries at SCC include weekly expository preaching, teaching the Bible in various contexts, counseling, and overseeing our men’s and youth ministries.

Next to spending time with his family Zach enjoys reading dead guys, smoking meat, and watching the Nuggets and the Broncos.

Kyle Petersen

Pastor for Worship & Discipleship

Kyle Petersen is the Pastor for Worship and Discipleship at Shepherd's Community Church. Kyle's ministry is devoted to the worship ministry at SCC as well as overseeing and communicating the church's discipleship goals and ministries. Kyle has been serving on staff at SCC since 2006, and he received his M.A. in Biblical Studies at The Master's University in 2010. SCC appointed him as a pastor in March of 2013.

Kyle's greatest desire is to see Christ exalted through worship and spiritual growth in the lives of all members of SCC, and to see the people of SCC making disciples according to Jesus' commission in Matthew 28:19-20, to the glory of God.

Kyle met his wife Heather at Target where they both worked in high school. They were married in June 2007, and are so thankful to the Lord for His faithfulness to them. They have been amazingly blessed with two sons, Ethan and Jaron.

Dee Jones

Bookkeeper

Dee Jones started the Church Bookkeeper for Shepherd's Community Church. She first gave her life to Christ when she was 4 years old in 1988. However, she stopped following God for a few years during the later part of high school and college. She recommitted her life to Christ in 2006 when attending a small group at Shepherd's. She greatly desires to honor God in all that she does in her life as a wife, mother, and church member. She married her husband Randall in 2003, and then graduated from DeVry University in 2006 with a B.S. in Technical Management with a concentration in accounting. She has the joy and privilege of raising their two sons Aaron and Noah.
