Outreach Ministries

The Senior Care ministry reaches out to our senior women with the love of Jesus to offer personal fellowship in God’s Word, in prayer, and in assisting with general personal needs.

The Special Events ministry teams schedule, plan, and execute special events for the body of SCC throughout the year such as holiday fellowship meals, women’s retreat meetings, summer fun events, etc.

Retreats and special events are held at various times during the year.

The Welcome ministry team delivers “goodie bags” to our visitors with either a loaf of bread, bag of cookies, or muffins.

The fellowship meal ministry team coordinates the support of the congregational fellowship meal shared at various times throughout the year following the worship service. This team coordinates the setup and cleanup activities of the meal.

The MSN team ministers to families by providing prepared meals.

To bring women of all ages together to seek and fulfill Christ's mission by encouragement, giving a sense of belonging to God and one another, enabling women to become all they can be in Christ and equipping them for blessing others with the love, grace, and truth of Jesus Christ.

The Bible has given a clear mandate for women who are maturing in the Lord to encourage younger women toward godliness. With this truth in mind, “Women Encouraging Women” seeks to shepherd young women through practical, emotional, and spiritual struggles.

At SCC, we are excited to celebrate the blessings of God in marriages and babies. These celebrations take place during our fellowship time between services or at one of our fellowship meals.

The administration ministry of SCC handles the collection and administration of contact information, calendar administration, and sharing of congregational news and events.
