The women’s ministries at SCC are committed to encourage each other to seek and obtain a personal, intimate, relationship with Jesus Christ through God’s revealed, written Word, through prayer, through fellowship, and the power of the Holy Spirit granting eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart prepared to receive and obey.
The knowledge of God which comes through the adoration of Jesus Christ is evident in and by:
The women of SCC are devoted to and love being used by the Holy Spirit to minister to and love and pray for one another. This is evident in ministries such as Meals for Special Needs Ministry, Bread/Welcome Ministry, Ladies Night Out Ministry and the countless acts of individual, group, and congregational outreaches. The overflow of the love of Christ from within is the evidence of obedience to Jesus’ examples and His own words to love as we are loved.
The women of SCC are committed to put into action the “equipping of the saints” that occurs at SCC. Women of SCC are reaching out to family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers within our local boundaries and also to those that extend beyond the borders of our own state, or our own country. Outreach trips to Mexico and India occur regularly and all are invited to share in the taking of the gospel to every tribe, tongue, and nation.
