2008-09-25 New Request From Randall Jones

I'd like to start off with an amazing praise. Our amazing heavenly father has brought Dee and I a beautiful baby boy, who is quite healthy and we will be forever grateful!!! =) We made a slight error, however, in assuming it would be easy once we got him home. We are having trouble getting him to eat, and it is taking a large physical and emotional toll on us both. Please pray that God will provide us with the strength and encouragement we need to persevere. We both know that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, but it is still a trying time. Thank you all!

Please pray for my family in Houston. My mom, dad, sister, and my sister's family all live in the Houston area, along with many friends. (I grew up in the Houston area.) My family is not near the coast, but they could still get heavy wind and rain, perhaps even flooding. Thank you. ~donald

Hello family, We received news that blood clots developed in Kelly Ferdig's heart. She is in the hospital at this time and will be treated and monitored overnight. We do not yet know the extent or number of clots but exhort you to pray for her and her family during this time. She has been a model of godliness and perseverance to us throughout her battle with cancer as we witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit (The Comforter) in her life. Praise be to God for her example! Thank you all for praying.

Dee and I both have large scale decisions to make involving our current and future job situation, and we would love to have our brothers and sisters in Christ pray for us =) Please pray that God will grant us wisdom to make the right decision. Also pray that we will glorify Him by being steadfast in our faith that through all God WILL provide. Thank You!

2008-07-02 New Request From Tom and Jan Whistler

Tom's dad (in Nebraska) is in the final stages of cirrhosis of the liver. Jan's dad (in Wisconsin) is in the final stages of Alzheimer's. Both men have rejected any talk of Salvation. Please pray that both will have clarity of mind to see their need and reach out to the Savior. Please also pray for the family. This is hard especially for Jan's mom. None of the family is saved. And please pray for us to know what God wants us to do.

Please pray for the salvation of our 17 year old daughter, that the Lord would have mercy on her and draw her to Christ, that she would repent and trust Christ as Lord and Savior and start obeying Him. Please pray for comfort and strength for Kristin Poteete and her family. Kristin's father passed away on Tuesday Evening (6/17)and they are grieving this loss. Praise God that they were able to be with him in Oregon in his last days! The funeral is scheduled for Saturday.

Church Family, As many of you know I have been looking for part-time work at home (bookkeeping/accounting) for quite a long time now without any real results. I would greatly appreciate your prayers for Randy and I as we seek God's will in my continued search for work as well as in how we may need to change our finances to better suit our current position. God has continually blessed us and provided for us as I have not been working outside the home. We know that He has also called us to be good stewards of the resources He has provided, so we want to make sure we are doing that to the best of our abilities. I would also appreciate your prayers for God to guide and direct us to what He would have me do. I know that I desperately need God's guidance, direction, and wisdom to be able to find the job that God has planned for me. Above all, we desire to follow God's will and plan for our lives, and need prayer that He will help us to discern and obediently follow whatever He has for us.

I just recieved a phone call from a very good friend who has visited our church in the past and he had very sad news. His name is Don and he called to tell me his daughter was found dead today in their Broomfield home. Cause of death is not known at this point. This was the only daughter. She was married and had a teenage daughter. Please pray for the husband (Ed and daughter Baily) as they go through this very difficult time. Also pray for my good friend Don and his wife as they sorrow over this unexpected loss. Thankyou so much Gary Doolittle

Dear Church Family, Thank you all for the prayers that you have lifted up on my behalf. I have been so blessed to be a part of this body of believers. Thank you for allowing God to work through you. I humbly ask you to continue to pray for my health as I have gone through another series of tests and have another one to go next week. God is so good and so faithful. I also write to ask for prayer for my father-in-law, Joe's dad. This week he was diagnosed with rectal cancer. We still do not know many of the details, but ask that you would remember him in your prayers as well. I feel so blessed to be able to write to you and ask these things. Thank you for all you have done and all you continue to do. We praise God in all of these things.
